Couldn't find it. House has a sign out front saying "Magnet Hill" but we stopped right by it and nothing happened.

Couldnt find it! No sign-posts or landmarks to say where it starts

This works! I've tried it lots. The trick is to watch for the line of birch trees that point north-ish. You have to approach this spot FROM the north, so these trees will be behind you when you're close to the right spot. Once you're at a smallish straight stretch of road that's heading uphill (facing southish), stop your car, put it into neutral, and watch as you will slowly begin to coast uphill.

To anyone who can't find it: the sign is infront of the house on the corner (my grandparent's) and the magnetc section is just south along the road, where the road starts to swerve. That is the magnet hill.

I used to live not very far from here. Every time we had visitors from out of town or country we'd take them to Magnetic Hill.
