We arrived and Joe asked "why did you book two sites for four people, you easily fit in one campsite?". He offered us a refund for one campsite, which surprised me as the campground wasn't booked at all. That was really cool. We had one campsite, which was large enough for two tents. The place is quiet, mainly RV's, no crazy party kids anywhere. I have never seen such a clean bathroom on a campground! I felt bad leaving food prints in there and wiped it off. The shower does need coins, which is another PLUS. Joe is one of a kind, very nice and friendly. We will come back next year, same time.

The view of the hills and mountains in Vernon is beautiful from the beach. Even though its cold in the winter, the scenery was amazing.

Yes the lake water quality is not very good but that's not the Campgrounds fault! However, there are many other really nice beaches just 5-10 minutes away. @Tamara, if you want privacy go to a Hotel!

Camping right across from the beach, beautiful spacious park steps away for family's to enjoy. Water quality is not great but swimable. Campground itself is basically side by side no privacy.
